ABOUT ABOUT

History Day at Strathearn Park

"Our Journey Through Time"

Old-time activities such as games for kids, butter making, clothes pin doll making, fairy garden, live music and dancing, tea time on the porch, and a people’s choice car show are some of the family oriented activities at Strathearn Historical Park & Museum in Simi Valley on Saturday, June 24th - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Throughout the day there will be ongoing activities, displays and demonstrations to engage the whole family: a horseshoeing demonstration, amateur radio demonstrations by Simi Settlers Radio Club, live animals and shop for handcrafted items from vendors.

Wander around the 6 acre park to check out antique cars, vintage tractors, and farm equipment, plus all historic buildings will be open for self-guided tours, with docents on hand to answer questions.

Food will be available for purchase.

All performances and activities are included in the pre-sale entrance price of: $5 adults - $3 kids 5-12.  Entrance is free to our active military and dependents with military ID. Tickets are available at the gate.

Proceeds support educational and preservation programs of the Simi Valley Historical Society at Strathearn Historical Park & Museum.

The park is located at 137 Strathearn Place (behind the new Target store on Tierra Rejada). For more information call 805-526-6453 or visit simihistory.com.
